Seaglets continue

My previous post about the birth - sorry, hatching - of the White-bellied Sea-Eagle chicks has got a bit long, but they continue to be interesting.   Of course, White-bellied Sea-Eagles are always interesting especially when on a webcam!  So this post will be a repository of my later screenshots and other stuff about the chicks.  Here are some images from 17 August around 7AM AEST.

Two images from 18 August follow.  In the first note how wet the plumage of Mum (RH adult) look.  We have had over 30mm of rain at home and I suspect Sydney got some rain also.

Update from 19 August below.
At some stage in the day after the image above was taken S1 appears to have been suffocated by having a dead pigeon dropped on it.  Poor little bugger.  On 20 August the camera had been zoomed back, giving a view of the whole nest, with Mum in situ.
Here is a snap from 22 August about 0715
On 24 August we had a great session of S2 feeding between about 6:40 and 5:55.  The final two shots in this set are tighly zoomed (by the cam folks, not me).

I think this post has got about as long as it should, so will start a new one as things change.
